Veggie Delight Pizza
For the dough
2/3 cup warm water
1tsp yeast
1 tsp sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2tblsp olive oil
2 cups flour
For sauce
1 cup pureed tomatoes
2tsp minced garlic
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried red chili flakes
1 tsp sugar
2tblsp olive oil
Salt to your taste
Toppings
2.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
1 cup onion diced
1 cup mushrooms diced
1/2 cup chopped green pepper and red pepper
1 cup cherry tomatoes, cut in half
1 tsp red chili powder
1tsp oregano dried
Salt to your taste
To make sauce, heat oil in a saucepan and add garlic. Add tomatoes to the mixture after a few seconds.
Salt and cook on medium heat for 10-12 minutes. Add oregano and chili flakes, as well as sugar.
Now you will notice the sauce thickening. Now, turn off the flame and leave sauce aside.
Warm water, yeast, and sugar are all you need to make the dough. Mix thoroughly and let rest for 10 minutes.
You will begin to see foam in your bowl after ten minutes. Add oil and salt.
Add flour gradually and continue kneading until you have a thick dough.
Knead the dough for five minutes. After kneading, the dough should not become sticky.
Keep it aside for at most two hours so that the steam can rise.
After two hours, spread dry flour on a clean kitchen surface. Now put the dough ball on top.
For pizza bases, sprinkle some flour on the dough ball.
Place the base on a baking pan or sheet and prepare for toppings.
Preheat oven to 250 degrees Celsius
Spread sauce evenly on pizza.
Spread half the cheese on the pizza crust, leaving at least 1/2 inch. Next, add the veggies. Once again, add cheese, chili flakes and oregano.
Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown and melted cheese.
Keep warm.
